Profile
Anton Örarbäck is an independent music maker, producer, mixer and musician based in Gothenburg, Sweden. Making music for big names as well as small ones.
Background
Anton has experience with different genres due to his versatile background. As a kid, he started playing the violin in an orchestra but soon thereafter he was smitten by the Swedish indie scene and dreamt more of guitar riffs a lá Broder Daniel and Bloc Party rather than Beethoven’s fifth. He started multiple bands in various positions all from indie rock, post-rock and pop.
Besides the bands, he started to explore the music-making process by himself. And after Radiohead’s "In Rainbows" his eyes had opened up for electronics in music. And he swallowed it all. He started making everything from trap and footwork to straight up techno.
In 2015 he decided he wanted to make music production his career. He started studying music production for a year in Växjö to later move back to his hometown and study three more years at Gothenburg University.
Today he combines all his life’s knowledge to run different projects all rendered from his musical background. He writes for commercials whether it’s heavy electronic music for Polestar or a soft piano waltz for Electrolux. He writes and produces his own electronic records under the name Little Broke. He writes and plays various instruments for the indie-pop band Balloon Maker. He produces, records and mixes different indie pop/rock acts around Sweden.
How I work
Every new project Anton takes on he does in a new way depending on the client's needs. Different budgets, different timelines and different creative ideas need different treatments. Usually, Anton works from his small production studio in Gothenburg but at times when the project needs it, he gets into bigger and more recording-friendly studios around Gothenburg. He also has a big network of great writers, producers and musicians that he brings into the projects when needed. If you need help with a project please send a mail, text or call!
